I've sent all the documents june 24th, it will be delivered today. I also paid 3100 dollars for 2 adults and 2 children (it's so expensive !)
Now I have to wait for the AOR, and it will be very long (1 year it seems)
Hi Nikos,
Did you not pay Biometric fees? The reason I am asking is that my total with 2 adults and 2 children is coming to be $3270.

Can you please confirm?

Hi All,

I am still waiting for CSQ but started on pre-requisites of PR stage.

Is there anyone who got PCC from India recently? if yes, what is the validity of PCC!

Thanks
RK

I don't know but since you'll have to do biometrics in a lot of time, it's not really a problem.

Biometrics are valid for 10 years. once we give it . Canada govt wont ask for it again and again.
The problem is , they are closed with out any further notice/information.

PCC is valid usually for a year but the expiration date is not mentioned on the certificate. I'm guessing it should be valid until the PR process is done.
BLS Ottawa was pretty fast considering the virus situation in India. I had a minister recommendation(ahem ahem) for my local PS to process the verification in a week's time and the whole process from sending documents to receiving PCC took about 42 days to be precise.

You will have to do biometrics in more than one year so it will be opened next year.

Hi, I have a question regarding filling IMM0008 form,
The section number 10 where you have to tell current residence country and status with from and to dates. My workpermit expired last month, we applied for extension but due to biometrics it's hung.
What should I write in "To" date now, it doesn't accept any backdated\historical date. ?
Thanks

Better to put implied status. Temporary Residents in Canada who have applied to extend their status are allowed to remain in Canada until a decision is made on their new application, even if their initial status expires while they are waiting for that decision. This is called implied status. Of note, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) does not provide documents to its clients confirming implied status.
