hi avana:)

im not sure yet if manila received it already.i have not receive any email or letter yet. but i hope they received it already :( how's ur application?

Have had no word yet from Havana! Hoping to hear something from there regarding an interview or PPR early November but even that is being hopeful... im getting drained with all this unknown... gets your mind thinking in all direction with the what-ifs! Seems there is no rhyme or reason as to how they communicate with you, so just have to wait it out! Hoping that the CSQ had no affect on delaying the opening of our app there!

We recently sent out the csq and undertaking application on Oct 17. We went to the post office near by to send it off but since we are here in Montreal we figured it would be fine to send it off by regular mail...now we realise we have no way of tracking if they even received it fine. :S Oi, just crossing our fingers.

Is there anyone from Montreal who has also sent it by regular mail?

Hey Cheerio,

No unfortunately I sent mine with tracking and signature required! (paranoid much? lol) I am sure regular mail is perfectly fine and they probably received it yesterday, if not Monday. It seems the MICC was slightly delayed through September, but that they are back on track now, so expect to have it in about one month. You can also call your credit card company in about two weeks to find out when the charge was applied. that will give you some peace of mind regarding them having the application.

Good luck!

ah yes...and we payed by money order instead...we were too paranoid to mail out a paper with all of that information...I think I can check on the status of those too though. Ill look into that! Its good you were safe with tracking and signature request. your mind is atleast reassured of that!

I wouldnt worry about it too much Cheerio! Your app is safe! I think our mind tricks us to get paranoid about every little thing because of all this stress! You will hear back soon and look into the money order! :)

Yeah this waiting game is really frustrating :( they said it will take like 2-4 weeks hopefully I could hear something next week :( my medical is going to expire soon on January 31, 2012 I just hope I could receive my Visa before it expires otherwise I need to redo it.

Hi Chelsea!

No kidding.. you've been waiting a few more weeks than me and I feel like I am going crazy! This last step seems to be the worst one and the most anxiety provoking! I saw my husband 2 weeks in july, one weekend in september, and even last weekend, but weeks now feel like months! Can't wait for him to get that phone call regarding interview or PPR! want him home! Our medical only expires beginning of June 2013, but I hope he's here way, way before that!

I would suggest giving them a call tomorrow again. They will provide you with an update. Do not be scared of calling, bugging them. You paid for the service so can inquire for as much as you want.

Hello everyone. I sent my application this morning and just like chelseaviel, I realized I made a mistake on my undertaking application :( On section 9, I forgot to check 'no' on the first question. I really doubt it, but do you think I can do something by calling? Or will they definitely send it back to me? Chelsea, were you able to have it corrected over the phone or was it returned to you?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

These posts are very helpful. My CSQ application was received last Friday (Oct. 26), so it's very helpful to have some idea when to expect my credit card will get charged (based on your posts it seems like it will be at the end of this week or early next week), and that we should receive the CSQ itself in probably 4 weeks.

CC charged today (Nov. 2, one week after receipt by MICC). Fingers crossed there won't be any problems and we'll get the CSQ in 3 weeks!

Goodluck Ivan P.
Me too, is still waiting for my CSQ,MICC received it last Oct. 22,2012,so far no news yet.Hopefully next week is a good one for us ;D

hey Moz,

I certainly don't think there is any problem with giving them a call and letting them know there was an error in your filing. Perhaps they will ask you to resubmit, and even if this worst case scenario happens, it'll save you some time to find out now! Plus, you might be pleasantly surprised. I had to call them because my app went beyond the waiting time and they were actually very nice on the phone! The whole process is pretty quick in comparison to CIC, so regardless should all be solved soon! :)

Good luck! :)

Hi IvanP,

Sounds about right for credit card charge, when I applied MICC was slightly behind schedule, and even so I received the documents in the mail on the 25th working day. Also got verbal approval on the 22nd day! Hopefully theyre back on track now and you'll be getting it well within the 20 days quoted on their website! Good luck! ;)

Good luck! It's annoying to have to go through an extra step, but they turn around time is pretty painless in comparison to all the rest...

Hi,

I received my husband's CSQ. I sent him a scanned copy via email. Does he need the original for immigration at the airport?

Thanks for you help.
