Dear All,

I've applied for Federal Skilled Worker express entry PR from the US and am in IP2 right now. I realized that my experience letter was slightly ambiguous. I was on OPT for 2 years and then now i'm on h1b and the letter didn't specifically mention the dates for when I was on OPT but mentioned the date i started my h1b. So I wanted to ask if it's advisable to send a revised experience letter with i20 forms and a copy of my EAD work authorization cards through CSE to substantiate my experience.

Thank you in advance :)

That is unnecessary. CIC is interested in your job duties , not the US work status you held during them. Both OPT and H1B periods were after you completed your education and hence eligible for work experience considerations.

Agreed, but the problem is my experience letter didn't specifically mention the dates and the dates mentioned show a lower work experience.

If your reference letter shows lesser duration , you need to ensure the duration is still enough to get you the CRS score you claimed. If you have to claim the 'missing duration' , it would be advisable to get a revised letter rather then just sending your USCIS relevant docs. CIC doesn't care as much about how long you worked there as it does about how long you did the NOC relevant work there.

I've gotten a revised letter as well as uscis documents. I should make the CSE right?
