CSE related query

I have a peculiar situation. My PR application is being handled by my lawyer. He attached a wrong document when submitting the application, we found this issue and sent a CSE to add the correct document. Today we got the below email from CIC,

The problem is, my lawyer handles files for multiple clients and he had sent CSE for other applicants as well. Now we dont know whose CSE was processed, since CIC does not provide any reference to the application in their reply.

Now how do I find out if it was my application that is processed. Will I be getting any message in mycic once the file is added to my application. Any insight would be helpful, TIA.

I had similar situation, my lawyer attached wrong documents. then he raised CSE which was refused as my application was cancelled as incomplete.
If your application is not cancelled then there is no problem because you have sent the correct document before they took any decision.

Yeah we sent the CSE the very next day after submitting the application, my application is not cancelled yet but I am not sure whether the document added is for my file or someone else'.

while filling CSE, it asks for EE number, and if update is in your account. then document is added to your file only.
Think +ve, everything seems fine. you will get through. best of luck for further processing.

Thats my question, actually there is no update in mycic account, i just have an email saying that the file has been attached. Will I be able to see the modified document after they attach it?

i believe there will be no update on CIC. i am sure they have attached it to the right file.
If there will be any update in CIC account then that will only be by your VO. CSE does not do any updates. they send all documents to your relevant VO.

u know key to success is think +ve, everything ll be fine. On the next day when my lawyer uploaded file, i had doubts that something is wrong. and same think happened. they rejected it
Now again in same pool waiting for ITA.
May i know did you provide 6 months average balance statement or balance certificate only ?
My lawyer told me that only balance certificate is required.

I am applying under CEC for which bank proof is not needed, but I have provided a balance statement just in case; I just downloaded my online statements and consolidated into a single file. I am not worried about this because this is not mandatory for CEC, but I dont know about other categories. So I would advise you to get all the documents possible while you have the time.

What is your CSE regarding ? it depends on type of CSE query also. My CSE took 20 days to reply..

I submitted my wife's reissued passport scan copies as her passport were expiring ....
