CSE QUESTIONS

Dear All,

I have submitted my application and received AOR on 26th January. I have two specific questions on which I need your opinions:

1. I am FSW outland candidate (working in a country different than my country of origin). My work permit is expiring in February 2016 but when I submitted the application it was valid. My renewal is on the way and should be there in early next week. Work permit in my country of residence is just a stamp on passport mentioning period of validity (Of course in English). I was thinking would I matter to CIC, should I scan this page and send it as CSE (since this page was blank when I submitted my e-Apr)?

2. My passport is expiring in July 2016, should I get it renewed now and submit through CSE or would It delay the process? Should I wait till I get PRR request and then I submit a new passport?

1. Once you submit your application it doesn't really matter but your visa office might be affected due to that if they are not notified that you are still in the same country. I would suggest you to send scan copies via CSE once the new permit arrives to make sure it doesn't affect your application timings.

2. I would suggest you should start renewing your passport since after PPR request you will only have 30 days to submit the passport. Once you have your new passport, raise CSE and send scan copies of your new passport.
