Will surely be good news if we see high 470s tomorrow.
My guess: ~1450 ITAs, CRS 478-481. Seems tight. Let's hope for the best.

BC apparently sent out 250 something nomations at end of september... so pool needs to be a LOT bigger for it to goto 478, around 2000 i think , 1500 will keep it around 482-483

If you're referring to ~640 odd invitations by BC, out of which ~250 were for Express entry - I believe those were not nominations!!

I thought the same but someone corrected me. Provincial ITAs are not nominations - this is the first step through which a province will invite candidates (~650 in this case) to apply, afterwards these candidates will submit the documents to the provincial program (BC here). Province processes that application and issues nomination after analyzing/processing. And that nomination will reward 600 points to the candidate.

@experts, please correct my understanding if incorrect.

you are right.. i thought i read in the article that they gave nomination to 200 people also.... could be wrong, dont have time to go back and read it however

In that case we should be looking at ITAs before June or July and not at the ITAs issued afterwards.

I believe this lot of 470-480 will have to wait for another draw for getting selected.

There are way too many applicants which are stuck at 480 and 481.

yup. started preparing the documents.
Major documents ready such as Work exp letters, PCC, ECA, IELTS. am i missing any major doc here? (major in terms of time consuming)
