I am wondering if the one year Canadian work experience for CRS point will include the time I make a business trip abroad, expecting one month or so. Thanks.

Does any one have an answer to this one? I am in the same situation.

I just got extra point in the CRS as I filled 2 years of Canadian working experience. Though, I have spent 2 months outside the country for business purposes and the employer can confirm it. Are these months excluded ? Is there any link?

if you guys are on company payroll then it means u r employed. doesnt matter where company sends u for projects or conference.

But someone can say that Canadian Experience counts only if you are physically inside Canada. Even if the employer is based in Canada.

Does anyone have any experience on that or a link to cic website?

The requirements for Canadian work experience specifically say "in Canada".
So no, you cannot be gaining Canadian work experience while abroad.

thanks!

Every mention of Canadian work experience on the CIC website clearly states "in Canada".
Here is one such example, but there are many of them: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/apply-who.asp
