Thanks for the reply,

The problem is i did a lot of research and i prepared all my documents (WES documents (master degree both me and my wife, Ielts , job reference letter , financial situation in good standing),

I just wanted to ask if it is possible to get sooner to Canada then to wait untill the CRS score drops untill 423, with the help on my cousins company ( he already had a friend of my invited trough the lima)

Sorry if i sound a bit noobish but i just want to understand some things completely :)

Thanks!
It's no problem. It's good you're already prepared.

See if your cousin can apply for a dual purpose lmia. This will mean you can get a temporary work permit (if lmia is approved) and move there straight away, while also allowing the lmia to count towards the 50 points for your CRS score.

Your LMIA has to be approved for skilled job and for more than a year in order to get those points. You cannot change employer once in Canada while on that LMIA - because you will have employer closed work permit.
Your wife would have opened work permit but only while yours will be still valid.

And work on your language, because it looks that you did not manage to get CBL 9+ in language. that shall help your score faster than waiting for positive LMIA

Your wife shall improve her language as well. With score like that she will have hard time to hit something within her specialisation.

However because of your work experience is just 1 year, your score will not be increased that big way (like 30 - 40 points).

Job offer is not positive LMIA, so you cannot claim those 50 points.

So either get positive LMIA (which will take rather lot of effort from your cousin company).
Or calm down and get another 2 years of work experience in order to get more points.

Hi guys

I'm struggling as to how to enter my total years of work experience

I have 4 years experience as a lecturer NOC CODE 4021

AND currently working as a Systems Consultant NOC CODE 2171 for the past 3 years 6 months

QUESTION: DO I PUT TOTAL YEARS WORKED IN THE PAST 10 YEARS AS 4?
OR DO I PUT 3 YRS & 6 MONTHS,
OR SHOULD I PUT 7 YRS & 6 MONTHS? TOTAL?
:'( :'( :'( :'(

I'M NOT YET SURE WHAT NOC CODE JOB I WILL BE GOING TO DO IN CANADA AS I'M OK WITH BOTH JOBS.

DO I HAVE TO SPECIFICALLY CHOOSE ONE NOC CODE?

Sorry for many question, I will truly appreciate your assistance in this matter

Thanks tons

In terms of few points (67/100) you can include 7 years of work. In terms of CRS score, it maxes out at 3 years of fsw. You have to pick one as your primary noc.

If I were u, then I would surely re-take the IELTS, and also I'd ask my wife to re-take.

Bro, u got 8 in S :)
That's really well done. Then how could u not get more in others? :-[

It seems that your English is nice enough. But all u need to do is to practise the official IELTS test papers, and get accustomed to the way the test is taken. It will surely benefit u. I mean, get used to the L R modules with a lot of practising, and watch the videos of tutorials for the same on youtube.

Once u are acclimatised to the test format, it will not be difficult for u to hit the high band score..

All the best with your prep..

Give me a +1 bro...

I looked at the persons score too but just seems to me they are fluent in speaking but may not have many years of formal English education to master the other sections.

The best option for u is on the left upper part of the page.

The link "Show new replies to your posts" will show each n every new replies to your posts. This way u can view all the responses to your posts.

Hope it helps.

HIT THE GOOD BUTTON ON YOUR LEFT IF IT HELPED . . . :)
