Please forgive me if I incorrectly placed this question on the forum.
I'm a US citizen, hoping to travel to Canada to visit a Canadian citizen, who's a good friend of mine. I would like to bring him my old, used workout bench, along with some dumbbells. I'm estimating the cost to around $45.00 US.
Is this something that can be done? Are there any special documents required to declare this? It will be a land crossing. I did read you don't have to declare gifts under $60.00 (in Canadian dollars), but being this is used, I want to make sure this also applies.
Any helpful feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
