Hi Friends,

I had heard from few friends that they qualified for the one year experience in there 11 month itself i.e there profile was pickedup( received ITA) when they had the 11 month experience( i.e they got those points in the 11 month itself).
Any thoughts ? or how does this work ?

Its more to do with how IRCC/CIC captures the information. They do not ask for the day of the month you got employed but only the month. So for ex., if you got employed on 30th August 2016, you would mention Aug 2016 and you would get ITA within the first draw in Aug 2017. However to avoid risk, do wait till the day you complete the full 1 year term to file your eAPR.

Have you heard that they reject the above cases. its not either the fault of the applicant though. I understand that its safe to wait till the date you complete one year.

The system is garbage but it is the applicants' responsibility to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria for the program for which they're applying to.
