No it won't.
Sometimes banks are flexible to offer mortgages to newcomers with large equity and they may use overseas credit history but that is an exception rather than the rule. Oftentimes that applies to US citizens who are permanent residents.
I heard about a guy who came to Canada and left after 10 years and cashed out all his credit cards, overdraft, lines of credit more than fifty k i think. He is not coming back. I don't know what will happen to him.
