I heard that to sponsor someone you need to have a good credit score. So that means that imigration does check it

What about just a refugee inside Canada? Does it affect refugee interview in some way? Or PR application later?

Your credit score does not effect refugee hearing positive or negatively. It also does not affect your PR application after you have accepted as convention refugee or protected person.

Sponsoring someone is all different story.
