This guy I know, looks like he is in real financial and family hardship.
He is permanent resident and took out some credit card loans which he unable to pay and currently in Mexico.
As of now....he is looking for job in Canada, do u think they might give him a hard time at POE.
I am also helping him a little bit....
What could possiblly hurt him...at POE.

immigration doesn't care about personal debt. if he's already a permanent resident in canada, he has the right to enter. he's not going to be asked about debt he owes upon entry. he is still responsible for the debt. it's his choice how he decides to handle paying it back. this is not a matter for cbsa or cic. this is a personal issue. it is not illegal in canada to owe debt in another country. what happens with his mexican creditors depends on the rules and laws of mexico and have nothing to do with his entry into or status in canada.
