Credentials evaluation

I have applied for bc pnp (paper base) which is about to be approved. If I apply for pr in express entry . Do I need to get my credentials evaluation ( I have bse degree from Mumbai) to apply for pr in ee or I can get away with it as I don't need points for my Indian education as pnp alone gives me 600 points and I have an Canadian diploma in international business management

If you have applied under CEC or Skilled Trade class, ECA is optional, else please get it assessed.

It states -
For candidates who are hoping to apply to the Federal Skilled Trades Program or Canadian Experience Class, an ECA is optional but may increase the points they receive on the CRS and improve their chances of being invited to apply.

Thanks for your help I am food and wine supervisor at hotel (noc b) so I will apply under Canadian experience class.
