Hi,

I recently received my CELPIP test scores and am now in the process of submitting my Express Entry profile. I will be the main applicant (with my spouse listed as my dependent).

I have over 2 years Canadian work experience and have put this in my application, however, my spouse has none. Is it worth putting his work experience from the UK in or when I am putting in his work experience should I put NONE? I am just not sure if it will get me any more points or not and it will be easier for me to get reference letters etc.

Thank you!

If you can get reference letters, add the work experience.

If it doesn't get you points and you can't get ref letters, take it off.

You complete the full history post invitation, but you don't need to prove the jobs then.

As far as I know your spouse can increase your score with his education, language skills and work experience in Canada.

His work experience in the UK would not add more points to you.

Cheers ;)
