CRC from RCMP document

I got an ITA under CEC class and I have been living in Canada since 2 years on work permit, and I am in process of collecting the documents for upload. I was not asked any canadian Criminal Record Check from RCMP but I was suggested by my friends that it is better to upload those document as well. Is it better to submit this Criminal record check document. If so which section should I upload, is it in 'other documents' section or 'Police clearance certificate-India' section. Please advise?

If you were not asked to provide the document, don't submit it. Don't listen to "friends". Follow the instructions.

You are not required to provide RCMP, If they need , they will let you know in the the application process. However most of us don't need.
RCMP they will check them self in the system.If there is any contradictions in names or matching of different names, they may ask for RCMP.

RCMP is police record of Canada , it's doesn't have any relation with your visit to USA. If you have spent more than 6 months time in USA, they will ask for a FBI police report.

Can I upload in other documents because I already received it. It is not going to effect anything right if I provide extra documentation?
