CPL and Instructor rating

I have my Private Pilot license and also have a visitor visa for Canada.
I want to get my Commercial Pilot License and Instructor rating which can take less than 6 months,
Can I do it on my Visitor Visa or I will have to get a student visa?

Not possible in that time, you need as per TC req. almost 100 hours dual *CPL 60 + 30 IR*, besides of 230 TT. Based on my experience you will need a study visa for that given the time frame required to get a Canadian CPL and an Instructor Rating.

Not necessarily true. The OP didn't say he was enrolling in a college to do it. If he is doing it directly through a flight school it can easily be done in 6 months.
