Dear Forum Members,
First of all, let me congratulate everyone on the outstanding support and knowledge that this forum is filled with. This site is a wonderful place for so many of us going through the immigration process.
Apologies if this has been asked before, but my question is this: What is the difference between the "Case Processing Centre, Mississauga" (CPC) and the "Visa Office Responsible for Processing your Application" (VORPA)?
I am sponsoring my wife for immigration. She is a lecturer at a Saudi University, and as per my understanding, her VORPA is Abu Dhabi, but her side of the application documents should be mailed to me in Canada for submission to the CPC.
So if I submit both her and my documents jointly in Mississauga, how does Abu Dhabi become her VORPA? Will the documents be assessed in Ontario, or Abu Dhabi? Or am I mistaken, and she need to submit her documents to the Abu Dhabi office instead?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
