coworker was laid off during my bc pnp application, will it affect my applcation

Hi Everyone,
When I filled my bc pnp application on November, the form asked if my company has any layoff in past 12 months? I answered No ( It was the fact )
But now my company just laid off one of my coworker. ( We are in different department )
Will this bring negative impact to my existed application ? Do I have to inform pnp office ?
