court question ......plz help guys

hi guyz i recently sent my documents to federal court of canada from pakistan for an application for a judicial review against my study visa refusal. And i havent hired any lawyer.
So,
(1) how long do they take to allow an application for a judicial review.
(2) and, how they are going to communicate with me? Visa email, phone or post?
