course relevancy.. need suggestions

I have done Btech in IT(Information Technology). I have chosen a PG diploma course of Computer Network ANd Technical Support in Seneca COllege. IS my course relevant to my previous Btech course. The reason i am asking this is, my visa application got rejected for the reason that my course is not relevant to my previous engineering..

yes its not relevant...coz network thing is for electronic field nd not for IT
