Hello guys,

Could you please advice what service to you use (Canada Post or Courier) in order to send my application to Sydney,NS, Canada.
My criteria are:
FASTEST WAY
GUARANTEE DELIVERY

In case I use the Canada's Post (Priority or Xpresspost) service, is the shipment considered courier?
What are the best cost effective Courier companies?
In case of using a courier company, do they need a signature in order to deliver there?

Please share your experience here!

Thanks,

Courier. Fedex, Purolator or UPS (I like them in that order).

Last time I used Canada Post to send my work permit application to Vegreville (from Calgary), using xpresspost, took 10 days to arrive.

Fedex are great, quick and safe and great tracking system which is reassuring, I would recommend them

Fedex, I agree. Canada post's tracking leaves a lot to be desired.

Thank you all for your replies.
So I think I am close to choose Fedex...

Could you please tell me if I have to tell them something specific for the shipment?
Do they have to take a signature in order to deliver?
If yes and they do not find someone what happens?

If you are applying in this season dont go for canada post. Go for Fedex or Purolator

I would recommend Xpress Post.

Canada Post is the most reliable and cheapest you can get. I used Xpress Post for all my needs during the last 6 years and I am extremely pleased with the service.

It takes them 2 business from Calgary to Ottawa and 3 business from Ottawa to Calgary, never more, sometimes less.

Use Canada post.
