Hi, I'm currently helping my girlfriend with her visa application and I was wondering what country she should write; She's from Japan but currently studying in the USA until the end of July, she will be back in Japan for 2 months before her planned departure date to Canada. Should we write Japan since she has a stronger tie to the country and it's the country of departure or the USA?

Thanks!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
It makes more sense to write Japan + add a note about her status in the USA, and that she's going back to Japan in July. That should be fine.

If she is US citizen she can enter Canada anytime. Since she is applying for Canadian visa, She must be a US Student visa holder from Japan.

If she will apply for Canadian visa either in US or Japan, her citizenship and residency will be entered, so she should enter her real residential and mailing address.

Visa applications from Japan are processed in Manila.
