But they have to last twice as long. D'oh

So, it means that probably the cap will be completed by December 2014 (no space for January / February / March / April 2015 applicants). It smells like something will change shortly when they realize about this.

average of 1300 apps x 6 months = 7800

I think CEC will be supplanted by this express entry after the 8000 cap is reached. Canadian experience class was going to meet all their immigration until some bad eggs (some FSW and employers) started gaming the system. An example of that would be, employers providing restaurant dishwashers or servers with letters stating they they worked as restaurant supervisors. The list is endless...

hi
I am working as accounting bookkeeper and have PGWP - a two-years diploma/business accounting from a college in Ontario. There are three NOC 1231/according to NOC 2006 matrix, NOC 1311/according to NOC 2011 matrix and other one is NOC 1431. under which NOC I should apply if I am applying to CEC? I am thinking of applying under CEC because AINP is very slow to get nominated ::). and my pay is 21 dollars/hour any suggestion please.

You have to use only 2011 matrix, which means that your noc code is 1311. But that noc code does not qualify any more even though it is skilled occupation.

And 1431 is skilled C which doesnt qualify under cec, you have to be either 0, A or B.

This means I cannot apply for CEC. even if I did a two year diploma etc and secured a job. it is a sad news for me.

You can still apply under AINP. I know few people who chose AINP over CEC, even though they had choice

I agree with Byrwus. We have all been in similar situations. Don`t give up hope. You still have time left on your work permit, so try and find something else that can work for you before you have too little or worse, no time left on your work permit.

Good luck!

I feel for you.

You are not the first boat that went through freaking storm in this sea.

Believe me, everyone here secured a job at some point.

Try Nomination.
Try another NOC while your work permit is open.
