Could this be a case of potential immigration fraud?

Hi all,

I am a 20-year old natural-born Canadian citizen.

I study web development and web programming on my own and have worked part time as a patrol guard in a busy shopping mall for about 7 months. Since last week, I have noticed that there have been a girl working in a retail store repeatedly flirting with me and it turns out that she is a Japanese citizen in Canada on a 1-year, non-renewable Working Holiday Visa (WHV).

Could it be because she is doing so in hopes of getting into a relationship and ultimately getting married simply to obtain Canadian permanent residency through spousal sponsorship?

Am I justified in my suspicions as to her true intentions?

UPDATE: I saw her boyfriend waiting for her outside the mall's parking lot. It seems like she still looks at and flirts with me a lot. It seems suspicious because she doesn't try to show that she's already taken. I feel as though she is just using him.

I actually said that the place that she's from in Japan seems to be a nice place to live.

Her only response was a "really?".

Also, I should add that she said her WHV expires in September. Now is obviously late September and she coincidentally has a boyfriend!

I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve by posting here. If you think she is trying to use you - just avoid her. It's no different than any other dating scenario where you think someone is trying to use you.
