Could International Students get PR?

Hello, I will be moving to Canada next year and I wanted to know if International Students can get their PR card.
Also, after graduating, does the student have to work in their specific field in order to apply for the PR? Or can they work in any field?
For example, suppose I graduate in psychology and I am unable to find a job related to psychology, can I work with someone into real estate and; (i) extend my work visa? And (ii) apply for PR?
Could that work?

As long as you job in real estate is in NOC 0,A,B.
