Hi
i am 25 Female and just done my undergraduate program recently, I have a job of salary of 300$ US per month and i am doing it from 3 years keeping my studies. I want to get admission in graduate program canada....i have plan to pay advance fee of 1 year. 4 years ago my mother sold a house and gives that amount to me... i kept this amount still in account which is 45K $ US. My question is........

1. 1 year statement is enough ?
2. will i have to show them that from where i got this amount so in this case
i have to show them all paper work of sold house ? is it !
3. Do i need to show them that i have a job which means strong ties with country or hide this and just show i have passed my education recently and never do a job which means genuine student.

YOU DONT NEED TO SHOW WHERE YOU GOT THE AMOUNT FROM IF ITS BEEN IN YOUR ACCOUNT FOR MORE THAN 6 MONTHS, AND YES 1 YEAR STATEMENT IS JUST FINE...

YOU WILL HAVE TO SHOW THAT YOU ARE WORKING AND MAKE SURE WHATEVER COURSE YOU SELECT IS RELATED TO YOUR PREVIOUS EDUCATION AND YOUR JOB...ATTACH YOUR ITR'S AND YOUR PARENTS IF THEY ARE FILING, LET ME KNOW WHAT IS THE AMOUNT IN THEIR ITR'S

YOU WILL HAVE TO SHOW 1 ACADEMIC YEAR'S FEES ($23,000 APPROX) PLUS SOME EXTRA MONEY LIKE LETS SAY $5000,
AND YOU SAID YOU HAVE 45,000$ IN BANK WHICH IS MORE THAN ENOUGH,
ALSO YOU WILL HAVE TO SHOW THAT YOU HAVE TAKEN EDUCATION LOAN, IN YOUR CASE IT SHOULD BE AROUND 7LACS IF YOU PLAN TO DO A 2YR DIPLOMA,GET A SANCTION LETTER FROM FROM BANK GIVE IT TO CANADIAN HIGH COMMISSION.
NOTE- IF YOU DON'T REQUIRE LOAN THAT IS FINE, JUST GET A SANCTION LETTER AFTER YOU HAVE GOT THE VISA JUST TELL BANK THAT YOU DON'T NEED THE LOAN THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A FINE OF LIKE RS.5000, BUT CONFIRM ALL THIS WITH THE BANK ONCE AND REQUEST THEM
BUT MAKE SURE YOU SUBMIT THE SANCTION LETTER, TAKING THE LOAN OR NOT IS YOUR CALL ;) , AS LOAN LETTER IS AN ESSENTIAL DOCUMENT

ALSO WHERE DO YOU PLAN TO YOUR STUDY FROM COLLEGE OR AN UNIVERSITY?
CHEERS!

Re: Could Helpful For Others (Continue) !!!

Thanks Mr rsingh27 for ur time......

Yes my previous education is same for course which i m planing to take in. I have done B-tech(Hons) Electrical want to take in MS Electrical. Plan for university bcoz some said university is better then college.....But it means tough study too. Also want admission in Sask.... or in Manitoba bcoz for Ontario there are already many students which means chances are less.Yes i have same field related job.and 2 years course.

So u mean in my case according to u ......
i don't need to show from where income comes
I can show i have a job (by showing salary slip, letter etc)

Tell me !!!

1. some persons says that don't show ur own bank statement as u r so young that could confuse that in such age how can u able to collect huge money ??? but as my account is 4 year old also have a job i think it is fine to show my statement also fill application on my behalf. not parents. what do u think ???

2. what is ITR's (explain) i did not buy anything huge ?

3. My course arounds $14000 from which i have already paid half, so if i fill application for bank loan is it ok for just 7 lakh (what baout the remaining costs like travel, living) why not u included that ??? is it necessary ???

what about ur status and plan ?

1. you require a bank statement of 4 months so your bank statement of 1 year is more than enough.

2. As you have this much money in your account for about a year so you don't require to show them the source of this income. Source of income is required when the transcription is done in the recent past. If you can provide source of income it will be a plus but it is not required in your case.

3. You can show this job, it won't be a problem.

Note: If you are from India, then for the visa purpose if you show your funds as a loan offered from recognised banks (list available in university checklist) then this will finish all your worries regarding financials.

1. You can show your account, there won't be ANY problem and what you have been told by others is not true. In Canada the age of maturity is 18 (19 in some cases) so you are fine.

2. ITR is Income Tax returns that you have to pay based on your income tax.

3. You should have to have a loan of 80% of your (1st year fee + Travel (usually 300CAD) + Living expenses (1000 CAD). Educational loan will make your case strong and you won't face objection on your finances.

ITR validates your income and a plus point for visa case but it is optional..

Well ties to home country is one of the most important factors in deciding your visa so don't leave this point weak. In order to have strong ties to home country show documents of your property, business (if any), settled family and your job (to be joined after your course). I must advise you to include property documents with your visa file. The property can be in the name of your parents.

You are most welcome any time, everyone over here will try to help you.

As explained by the other member ITR validates your income. If you are showing funds as bank statement you don't need to show ITR. ITR is important when you are applying under General category and as you will be applying under university category so you don't require to show ITR.

I haven't added a single peace of documents related to taxes.

Thanks will ask if i needed more info..............
