Hello everyone,
I’m studying a 1 year post-graduate certificate program in a college. This program contains 3 consecutive semesters including summer. When I graduate from this program, I’ll continually study another 1 semester certificate program. ( total 3 + 1 = 4 semesters) After I finish the 2nd program, how long will be my work permit? Am I eligible for the 3 year work permit? Thanks!!

Yes you are , I have seen many people doing that.

Hi, pls has this been verified, I intend going for a 3 semester course in cambrian college would it be possible to take an extra semester course so I can get 3 yrs post graduate work permit?

A work permit under the PGWPP may be issued for the length of the study program, up to a maximum of three years. A post-graduation work permit cannot be valid for longer than the student’s study program, and the study program must be a minimum of eight months in length. For example, if you graduate from a four-year degree program, you could be eligible for a three-year work permit if you meet the criteria. If you graduate from an eight-month certificate program, you would be eligible for a work permit that is valid for no more than eight months.
