Correspondence with Detroit Visa office

Has anybody tried emailing the Detroit visa office for any queries recently ? I sent them an email but did not receive the standard acknowledgment from them. Is it because they are closed ?

Pretty good reason why they didn't respond.

With the closure of the Buffalo visa office in May 2012, all PR applications from Buffalo and all new PR processing were transferred to the Case Processing Pilot – Ottawa (CPP-O). PR applications currently in Seattle or Detroit will be sent to Los Angeles and New York respectively for processing.

They should atleast notify the sender to direct all their queries to CPP-O.Will Detroit office transfer the received documents to CPP-O or New York office ?

Anybody with similar experience ? I emailed CPP-O a week back but haven't heard from them.
