correspondence from Sydney CIC through email

Dear forum members,

I have a question and i would apreciate if anyone can update me on it.
I recently applied under FSW category on 13/03/2009, on required application forms there is a column which requires you to tick in case you want to recieve offical correspondence from sydney office through email. I deliberatly ticked that column in order to recieve quicker replies (although i also enclosed with my application self addressed labels)
My question is HAS ANYONE EVER RECIEVED EMAIL CORESPONDENCE BEFORE FROM SYDNEY CIC?

Hi, I do not think Sydney ever communicates by email. I should receive a letter. In your case it seems a bit late. Unfortunately there is no way to check the status at Sydney level so if your letter is late, you lose the precious 120 days.

Me & my friend applied on 26 Jan, he got the letter on feb 13 & no reply for me till date, hope for the best, & the my bank draft is also not enchashed yet
