Im just wondering if the current covid-19 situation affects theRefugee claimants decisions of irb in anyway.

You have a wait ahead of you after you apply. Expect 18-24 months for a hearing date. Probably longer given current circumstances and the backlog it will create.

If you just arrived, you are most likely a few years away from a hearing.
