Coronavirus Alert - Flight from India to Toronto with a layover in China

Hi everyone, I am sorry if this isn't the right thread to post it, so here it goes. I have a work permit to work in Canada and currently visiting my family back home.
I booked a flight with China Eastern airlines a month ago which has a layover in Shanghai, now my question is with Coronavirus being at play here, can it create complications when I land in Canada or even at Shanghai airport?
If anyone has any answer to this please reply.

Yes if the flights into or from China are cancelled. You should be monitoring the news and the flight information.
