would the Corona virus effect my family sponsorship application ?

In what respect do you think it might ? No reason to think it might do anything more than maybe add in some delay should IRCC have some temp staffing issues. I am not a medical professional so personal view but Doubt whether someone coming through a COVID infection would necessarily affect their application unless creates some long term respiratory/ lung condition as a result that could cross the medical threshold.

International air travel however is another matter once COPRs are issued given that will likely take a long time to recover if ever to the previous frequency.
