I have received my IM-1 Visa yesterday which is valid till July 2019. There was no CoPR along with the Visa.

Please guide me if I need a CoPR in addition to the Visa to travel to Canada and how can I get one for myself now.

COPR is required as you and the border service officer has to sign on this document to complete your PR status once you land in Canada. Please check with your visa office regarding your COPR.
