CoPR stamping: Send passports of dependent separately

Hello,

My wife lives in Boston, MA and I live in California. We are still on IP2 but I am wondering, can we send our passports separately for stamping? Due to our travel schedules, we won't be able to send in our passports together, not for another 3 months at least.
