Hi all,
I have recently received my COPR along with a one time entry visa. Can someone please help me with the below questions

1. I am based out of the US right now, and I only want to move to Canada after I secure a full time job. Can I get a Canadian tourist visa and attend my interviews in person in Canada? Is that legal/possible?

2. Its been more than a year that I have taken my medicals. Do i need to take it again before entering Canada with my COPR? If so what is the procedure

I really appreciate the answers and thank you in advance!

You can't have 2 valid visas. IRCC issues tourist visas too. If you apply for a tourist visa, your permanent residence will canceled. You can land in Canada and then give your friends address so the PR card can be mailed to that address. Your friend can then send the card to you. At the time of landing, your medical has to be valid. If you don't use your permanent residence, you have to surrender it.

thank you for the response.

So I can goto Canada anytime before my COPR expires and have my PR card mailed to a friend? Additionally, I need to do another medical?

Your COPR would also have an expiry date so land before that.
