COPR READY, PASSPORT IS WITH ANOTHER EMBASSY

Hello All,
i just received the letter to submit passport for my COPR but my passport is currently with another embassy with no apparent hope of retrieving it before the applicable deadline. I have sent a CSE webform to request for extension of deadline from ircc but no response yet even to acknowledge form submission.
i am very scared of this being an issue especially as the deadline is in a few days.

Please what else can i do so i can have peace of mind on the issue?

You could attempt to email the VO processing your file if you know it, however, if you applied online it could be any VO.

The webform is what you needed to do. IRCC will have the date and time you submitted it, and they'll know you tried to contact them before your passport deadline.
