CDNPR2014 said:currently yes, it has been taking people 2+ years to get approved inland. this is why it's usually recommended for people to apply outland, even if they are living in canada. IRCC has started a backlog effort, so we are now seeing end of 2015 and early-mid? 2016 applications being approved. with the new process, it is likely people will get approved in less time. we will see what happens.
