I used VFS-Dubai.

Just checked my CIC account..my application has been approved and processing has ended.Meanwhile, vfs tracking says it is still under processing at IRCC office...lol

Just for the info...i received all passports, CoPRs and visas on 21.02.2020. Planning to land in Montreal very soon. Thanks

Appointment to submit passports either through VFS or embassy is not required. You just need to walk in with the letter you receive from IRCC, photos etc and pay the transmission fees. Appointment only required when enrolling for biometric. Thanks

Any one have passport submitted to Abu-Dhabi embassy and not returned? Are they working now? During covid-19 period, how long can they take to return passport?
