COPR issue (possibly)

Hi!! I got my DM yesterday from Ottawa. E-cas says that they started processing my app on May 6 then DM was updated May 9. I sent them an updated copy of my passport (to married name) on May 2 but my computer sent it from a random email address not on the application. I realized this on May 6 and sent another copy from the email they have on record. Then on May 7 I got an email in regard to the first email I sent basically saying they don't have that email address on file and if I wish to change it, I should submit a request in writing. Didn't mention the passport or whether they linked it to my account.
E-cas is still showing my maiden name.... Which now does not match my passport in my married name. I'm afraid that my name update and new passport got overlooked and my COPR will be issued in my old name. If this is the case, what do I do?!? Is that something that the border officer can change upon landing (if I have both passports, obviously)?

From what I hear this is not an issue if you can show both passports during the landing. However, more experienced members would know more.

Yep. COPR came in the wrong name (and passport number).... Craaaaap. No one has ever had this happen before? Lol

Zardoz has, his had an issue. Maybe not the same, but whatever he had corrected took a couple of months. I see you have requested yours to be re-issued. It could involve quite some waiting I am sorry to say.

IIRC, Zardoz sent his back to have Condition 51 removed as it did not apply to him.

I'll let you know haha. I fedexed everything yesterday and it arrived this morning. They asked me to include a prepaid xpresspost envelope to "expedite the process" so hopefully it won't take too long. I'm hoping for a month tops.
