COPR EXPIRED

Hello guys hope everyone is doing okay . i have a silly question hoping that you can assist me that would be much appreciated and i would like to thank you in advance .
I am preparing documents to apply for citizenship i would like to know if the expiry date on my pr card which is 2024 is the same as the expiry date on my copr . For info i received my COPR on november 2019. in case it expired what should i do as i have read online that it lasts only 1 year so i assume it expired . is my status affected right now .By the way i live and i am settled in Canada already . please could you clarify me guys regarding this matter thanks so much

COPR expiry date doesn't have any bearing on your status in Canada, once you are granted PR the only factor is your residency obligations in terms of whether you can renew your status or apply for citizenship.

Thank you very much it makes feel more comfortable .so it's not necessary to renew my copr which expired a couple of months ago ? Thanks again

No, your COPR is just a confirmation of your PR status when you need to land.

It's a good document to have on hand for your citizenship though.
