continue problem with call cic

I live in USA, and AOR is Jan, 2019. I tried to call CIC for my status via skype, google voice to 613-944-4000 continue failed. Never can transfer to a real personal.
How do you guys call?

It's all about timing, try early in the morning first thing. And avoid peak days like Friday.

Hello you cannot reach IRCC anymore with the 613-944-4000 number. You should download the app called “text now” and pick a Canadian number with the app. Then call IRCC with 888-242-2100.
