Looks like I'll be going over 12 months for my citizenship application. I have tried everything except going to my MP.
I wanted to know from others if it has been helpful to them in any way. Before lawyering up I was thinking of giving it a chance.

My MP is conservative, Lisa Raitt.

I've seen one or two cases on this forum where the MP gave CIC a nudge and seemed to move the case a bit. I don't think you have anything to lose contacting your MP but don't hold your breath.

Agreed.....absolutely nothing to loose, but don't expect miracles. They can't influence the process in any way.

Thanks, I got them in April but they were useless since they sen7-month-old old copy. Re-applied 3 weeks ago.
Wait..seriously? You re-applied in spite of the fact that you have an application in queue already?!
