Hey All,
So I decided to take some time away from the forums to really help my anxiety with all this. During that time, my spouse and I, we came across a friend who happened to be a CIC Officer for ten years and is now an Immigration lawyer. We got to talking and we told him that we've been held up in Mississauga for the past seven months with literally no news. He said he;d take a look at our GCMS notes and let us know what he thought. After doing so he told me that it looks like the hold up is this OB 570. We told him we've been in review for it for quite a few months now. He said that it's highly prospective we would still be processed within the processing times. He himself mentioned that we could always contact our MP and maybe they could shed some light onto why it's taken them 6 months to see if we 'meet requirements'.
I mentioned that we had been detoured from contacting the MP since it might piss off the officers. He said no the officers don't care that much and if they ever did anything as a reaction to you contacting your MP, you'd have all kind of hell you'd be allowed to raise over it.
Basically just looking for opinions.
**OB570; He mentioned to us that after asking around that OB570 is (highly likely) a pilot project that just streamlines your application. But had no idea what exactly since it isn't publicly available yet.
Felt much better after talking to him and getting off the forums. Came back to share what I found. Let me know if anyone has any questions.
