Does anyone know which email or some way of contacting CIC after you have submitted an online application. In my husbands case it's outside of Canada, Costa Rica to be specific but Guatemala City processes CR's applications. My husbands flight for Canada is supposed to be on October 10th which is 2 weeks away from now and i'm getting worried as there hasn't been an update to his myCIC account since we applied on September 11th (only 2 emails, one confirming payment and other confirming submission). We included the flight booking/confirmation and does someone know what we can do to contact them to possibly get this expedited due to travel date being so close ? we've applied before and its never taken this long.

Any info would be great

There is no such thing like that.

From CIC: Only reasons beyond your control will be taken into consideration. Bookings for tourism or family visits, booked fares, already paid language course, non-problematic child births, transits through Canada, appointments for visas at other embassies, etc. are NOT CONSIDERED urgent cases.

You are still within their processing time of 19 days for 80% of applications. Even if you get the approval, you still would have to send the passport, which will take more time.

we got the email for his specific VO and sent them an email- and next day he had the passport request. so maybe it works..
