Why are u asking this question? I do not take any help from consultants because first they charge a lot of money and they do not issue visas. Forums like canadavisa are a lot better for collecting info for free and preparing a file by yourself in an organized way. I stick to such forums online.

@asad

i just raised this questions to come across with new ideas about consultants.Brother you may be right on your track

If we can not fill a simple form by ourselves then whats the point of going to canada and studying there
:)

And mostly these consultants youll find out are more illiterate than any 5th grader
i have found out form many viticms

so make the case yourself as u know ur self better

I slightly disagree with haq . the language that is used sometimes on these forms can be ambiguous. sometimes u need a help from experts in order to fill them out so probbaly you can take a help from a good consultant but the kind of money they charge for their service this is what I do not agree upon.

@asad1001

i agree with ur point about consultancy charges but brother Canadian Embassy authorized consultants charge as low as you want

You can visit your lawyer and have him prepare it for you...

Basically , it is a kind of legal paper whereby any thing said stands legal to the world. . . .

Its not mentioned on the CIC site.You can check here:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-how-documents.asp
Neither they asked for it when they sent the medical call.They asked for police certificate which i already submitted.

it is def necessary if u are applying for usa/aus/uk visa i am not sure about canada but it is just a notarary paper on which your sponsor in your case your dad will mention some details like he has such and such money in his account and property in pakistan and he will burden all your expenses from tuition fees to living expenses in Canada and u will not be a burden on the canadian govt while u r there. This notary papar will be notarized by a notary public. This is called Affidavit of support.

since u have got your medicals i dont think u should worry too much about it. Bank letter and bank statements would be enough if it is missing from the docs. However, it is advisable that this affidavit of support should be submitted alongwith other documents. It is like a halafnama/oath from your sponsor that he will not back off from funding your studies....
