Dear friends,
as i am in process of applying for SINP-Skilled worker category, i am screening consultant to handle my case. yesterday i met one and he gave me suggestion to get to canada by fastest way.

he recommend me to apply for visitor visa and land in canada on visitor visa. he said his lawyer will process my SINP in canada once i land there . ( i do have a job offer in saskatchewan). he said theres no point of waiting in india till my SINP approval. instead i should move to canada right away and apply for SINP within canada.

what do you guys think? is it possible?

If you go to Canada with visit visa, most probably it is not possible to work.
However, if you get a work visa, go to Canada and start your job and apply for SINP, would be a safer and much convenient option.
A work permit may take 1 to 2 months to get normally.

i was suggested that i can work under the table ( on cash, since my friend is my employer) and apply for SINP within canada will be quicker. once SINP is approved, i can apply for open work permit and then for PR. seems like ok plan but wondering what are the risk factors?

There's no incentive to pay you cash under the table from an employer's POV unless the employer is going to pay you way below the industry's standard or minimum wage and work you like a horse. In that case, unless you have a truckload of cash somewhere, you'd end up getting frustrated.

If your friend is your employer, I'm sure he can go the extra step to fill out all necessary paper work to get the SINP. You just need the SINP to get a work permit; no point complicating your case when it is not complicated!

he is willing to get me SINP, the point is he wants me to be with him asap so my consultant suggested me to go there on visitor visa, work with him on cash basis and apply for SINP.
