Consultant advise to provide this much document ....Seniors please help.

Hi All,

Please advise as consultant told that we need to provide the below documents for General category which is as under:-

1.Offer letter from College,
2.payment receipt of college
3.Ielts marksheet
4.ITR return
5.GIC
6.Medical
7.Passport.

Now question is this correct document list.

Please help me for the same.

Do you know what GIS (on your list) is?

one is guaranteed investment certificate & does proof of financial support for the duration of our studies is needed in General Category.

Bro, this is for SPP Catagory{guaranteed investment certificate & does proof of financial support for the duration of our studies}
For General, you have to show 20-25 lac in your account and 7-10 lac loan..
Visit any consultant in your area for just query for best knowledge!!

where it is written that we have to show 20-25 lakhs +7 lakhs loan ? Please stop misguiding people here. And the one who asked this should read the checklist first. Amount you ll show must cover 1year living+ 1 year tuition.Thats it.. Calculate it and attach this much balance proof. Thats it.

No, it is not so simple.

Based on the known incidence of indigent and non-bona fide applicants, reliability of financial documentation, and so forth, individual visa offices are best placed to determine whether routinely requiring banking documentation and/or more extensive financial background information is necessary to ensure program integrity.

Conversely, in some very high-risk environments, requiring and systematically verifying substantial history of funds and supplementary individual or family financial and employment documentation may be necessary to ensure that only genuine students capable of supporting their program of studies are accorded study permits.

Officers may take into consideration such sources of funds derived through scholarships, fellowships, assistantships and the like, as well as financial support or support in kind that may be available from relatives in Canada. Foreign students in Canada are ineligible for benefits under the Canada Student Loan program.

You may show funds for 1 year only but in this case you have to prove you have a RELIABLE source of funds to cover future tuition and expenses.
