Consent letter needed for travel in case of minor child accompanied by parent.

Hi Guys,

I am a permanent resident of Canada. I am applying for the visitor visa for my wife and daughter. Do I need to fill up a consent letter to allow my daughter to travel with my wife from India to Canada? Please advise as there is a field to attach consent letter document in the documents section for my daughter's application.
