Hi All,
I am currently in the process of getting a PR through a conjugal partnership process.
I send in all my information and did my medicals which were send to the Vienna office.

Yesterday I received a letter from Vienna I need to attend at an interview in Vienna in 2 weeks.
I am wondering if anyone has experience with the interviews for a conjugal partnership (I know every interview is different but jut to get an idea)

I am currently 26 years old and my girlfriend is 25 years old. In 2015 I moved to Canada under an IEC visa and worked at a company for 8 months where I was working for in the Netherlands and I still do. However, the company in Canada was not able to get an approved LMIA because the job I am doing could be done by a Canadian citizen. Therefore, I was not able to live in Canada with her. During this time I flew to her (Canada) and she came to me and we went on several trips.

I hope someone has experience with the interview as I have mixed feelings about it, because it does not look very promising at this moment.

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

Subsection 15(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act states that an officer is authorized to proceed with an examination where a person makes an application to the officer in accordance with this Act.

Subsection 11(1) of the Act provides that a foreign national must, before entering Canada, apply to an officer for a visa or any other document required by the regulations. The visa or document shall be issued if, following an examination, the officer is satisfied that the foreign national is not inadmissible and meets the requirements of this Act. After carefully reviewing your application and supporting documents we have determined that an interview will be necessary to determine whether you are admissible to Canada and meet the requirements of the Act.

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED AT INTERVIEW

Please bring the documents marked by an "X" to the interview. Only original or certified true copies are acceptable. All documents must be translated into either English or French.

[ X ] Your passport.
[ X ] Evidence of conjugal relationship.

A conjugal partner means, in relation to a sponsor, a foreign national residing outside Canada who is in a conjugal relationship with the sponsor and has been in that relationship for a period of at least one year. (partenaire conjugal)

This is a hard one - I don't see how you can prove conjugal since you face no immigration barriers to getting married or becoming common law. If you had found this forum earlier, we would have told you to forget about conjugal since you don't qualify and wait until you are either married or common law to apply.

I would bring as much evidence as you can of your relationship to the interview.

I would also recommend that you be prepared for the fact that a refusal is the most likely outcome. You'll then need to either get married or become common law - and then reapply.

I agree with scylla. There are no legal or immigration barriers preventing you from either marrying or becoming common-law, so you aren't conjugal. Be prepared for a refusal.

When you applied did you believe you had legitimate reason to apply conjugal? Do you have any sorts of evidence to bring?

Let us know how it goes.
